FAQ
Below are answers to frequently asked questions, and questions you may have not thought of yet, if you can not find the answer here, do not hesitate to submit your question to: support@gpsworktime.com
Why does it seem as if it does not log when you look at daysummary during logging?
Logging is done only when the GPS signal is available, it means that the logg looks strange when you look at them during logging. And to conserve battery power so are logging at an interval that is limited to a minimum.
The logs in the same place even though I was at two nearby locations, how can that be?
GPS'en uses the longitude / latitude and the program uses only one counts for putting the limits of an address, this means that sites such as "reserved" as a known position will vary in size and is large, a rectangle with up to 100- meters per side. However, you can manually add locations and when you then retrieves the location information as is done by the center that is closest.
What can I do to reduce battery consumption?
Battery consumption is high, this is partly understandable, to allow some form of improvement that has you can control the duration of the application rests in between measurements, this makes it better but you can not set this interval too long, the recommendation is to keep time to a maximum of half the travel time, that is your trips in about 10 minutes on average, you should not log the time exceed 5.
Where are my customers?? they disapared after the update 2013-01-29
Within the update I added a customer level that the user adds the interesting places to, this to get the list of customers shorter and more relevant. To most easy fill the customerlist, on daysummary klick and hold on the place then choose Save as customer.
